Council #12465 of the Knights of Columbus announce our new annual Principle of Charity Scholarship! It is an award of $500.00 to a parishioner of either St. Mary’s Holy Family Parish in Kensington or St. James’ Parish in Summerfield who is attending post-secondary education of any type in the fall.
Since Charity is the first of the Knight’s Principles, we want to award a member of our parishes who exhibits this virtue in their lives. The application revolves around the volunteer and charity work that the applicants participate in. Application forms can be found at the back of both churches, with applications to be submitted to Fr. Jay no later than May 31st. The successful candidate will be contacted no later than June 15th.
God bless, and have a blessed week!
-Kyle MacNeill, Grand Knight for Council #12465 Kensington & Summerfield
