Saturday, June 4 the Knights held their Yard Sale on the church grounds at St. Mary’s Holy Family Church.
An anchor point for the corner was the new KofC “Pop Up Canopy”, that sheltered the table containing the goodie basket of Island Treats and the Donation Jar for the Ukraine.
The principal focus of the Yard Sale was to provide funds for the Annual Scholarship provided to a graduating student from St. James or St. Mary’s Holy Family Parishes to assist them in their first year of college/university.
Over $1,300.00 dollars came in and it was a great fraternal project that was welcomed by the parish and neighbourhood after the disruption of Covid-19 for the last couple of years.
